Audience
This webinar is designed for anyone interested in learning more about the implementation of the NIH Single IRB policy, including principal investigators, signing officials, research organizations or institutions, and institutional review boards (IRBs).
Purpose
To acquaint applicants and offerors with the NIH Single IRB policy. Participants will:
- Learn how to implement the NIH single IRB policy
- Understand the expectations for the NIH single IRB policy
- Become familiar with the process to request exceptions to the policy
- Understand the responsibilities of the IRB, the investigator, and the institutions in implementing the NIH single IRB policy
