Obtain Software

Adobe Reader

Adobe Reader software is needed to view PDF documents including the application image assembled by eRA systems. If using Grants.gov Workspace for your submission, be sure to use a version of Adobe Reader compatible with the Grants.gov forms if you take advantage of their feature to Download/Upload individual forms.  Users can identify and download compatible versions of Adobe Reader by visiting Grants.gov's Adobe Software Compatibility Link to Non-U.S. Government Site - Click for Disclaimer page. 

PDF Generator

You must use PDF format for all documents attached to application forms.  Many word processing programs include options to save documents in PDF format. There are also free PDF conversion programs available on the internet.
