Steps for Rejecting an Application

Proceed with caution...once an application is Rejected, the action cannot be reversed.

  1. On the eRA Commons Status screen, click on Recent/Pending eSubmissions.
     
  2. Enter the requested Search Criteria and click on Search.
     
  3. Select “Reject eApplication” link in the Action column that corresponds to the application you would like to reject.
     
  4. Enter the comment to be sent with the email notification.
     
  5. Click Reject. The PI will receive an e-mail notification including the provided comments and stating the AOR/SO has rejected the application.
