Registration
Before starting an application, prospective applicants must obtain an eRA Commons account. An eRA Commons account is required to access the Application Submission System & Interface for Submission Tracking (ASSIST), a system that is used to prepare and submit applications electronically to NIH and other Public Health Service agencies.
If you have an eRA Commons ID, you may start your LRP application by logging into ASSIST.
Type of Award
The LRPs have two broad types of awards: First awards, called New Awards, and subsequent awards, called Renewal Awards.
