Shared Instrumentation Grant Applications (S10)
Purpose of the Award
- Encourages applications from groups of NIH-supported investigators to purchase or upgrade commercially available instruments that cost at least $50,000.
- Types of instruments supported include but are not limited to X-ray diffraction systems, nuclear magnetic resonance (NMR) and mass spectrometers, DNA and protein sequencers, biosensors, electron and confocal microscopes, mass spectrometers, DNA sequencers, biosensors, cell sorters, and biomedical imagers.

- Maximum award is $600,000.

- Reviewers should not evaluate the scientific merit of the research project components, because these have been previously peer reviewed.
