New MOU between NIH and the VA

NIH and the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) have participated under a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) Concerning Laboratory Animal Welfare for more than a decade. The agencies share a common interest in the care and welfare of laboratory animals used in research and testing. This agreement provides for coordination and harmonization of agency efforts to ensure appropriate laboratory animal care and welfare. The new MOU is available at NIH-VA MOU.
