NIH invites the extramural research community to attend a two-part virtual event on security expectations and best practices for protecting NIH controlled-access data.
Session Topics include:

• Alignment with NIST SP 800-171
• NIH Security Best Practices
• Identity Proofing requirements
• Live Q&A
Institutional officials, researchers, and IT/security staff involved in managing or accessing NIH controlled-access data are encouraged to attend.
American Sign Language interpreting services are available upon request. Requests should be made at least five business days in advance to ensure interpreter availability.
