Protection and Advocacy for Mentally Ill Individuals (X98)

Provides financial assistance to State and local government agencies and public and private organizations, to establish systems to protect and advocate the rights of the mentally ill. This program is to ensure that the rights of mentally ill individuals are protected and advocated in conformance with constitutional, Federal and State mandates.
