Small Business Technology Transfer (STTR) – Cooperative Agreements - Phase I (UT1)

To support cooperative research and development projects between small business concerns and research institutions, limited in time and amount, to establish the technical merit and feasibility of ideas that have potential for commercialization.

Organization Eligibility

SBIR and STTR activity codes: Only United States small business concerns are eligible to submit applications to SBIR and STTR funding opportunities. Collaborating research institutions (e.g., universities) are subcontractors to the small businesses and may not apply as applicants. See SEED: Eligibility Criteria.
