Small Business Innovation Research (SBIR) Cooperative Agreements - Phase I (U43)
To support projects, limited in time and amount, to establish the technical merit and feasibility of R&D ideas that may ultimately lead to commercial products or services.
Organization Eligibility
Only United States small business concerns are eligible to submit applications to SBIR and STTR funding opportunities. Collaborating research institutions (e.g., universities) are subcontractors to the small businesses and may not apply as applicants. See SEED: Eligibility Criteria.
