Food Safety Capacity and Infrastructure Building (U2F)
To build food safety capacity and infrastructure by assisting State, locality, territory, Indian tribe, or nonprofit food safety training entity that collaborates with 1 or more institutions of higher education to undertake food safety inspections, investigations, and examinations; train to the standards established by the HHS Secretary; build lab capacity; and respond to notifications received under Section 1008 and recalls.
