International Research Training Planning Grant (D71)

To plan for the preparation of an application for a D43 international research training grant or for a U2R international research training cooperative agreement.

Purpose

The goal of this program is to support planning grants in the Global Infectious Disease research training program to develop international research training program applications (D43), or a U2R international research training cooperative agreement.

Organization Eligibility

  • Eligibility: Foreign Institutions

Only institutions in low-and middle-income (LMIC) countries are eligible to apply.

Project Director/ Principal Investigator (PD/PI) Eligibility

  • PD/PI U.S. Citizenship Requirement: No
  • Career Stage: Established Investigator

PD/PI should have research and training experience in the LMIC country.
