Purpose

The purpose of this Notice is to inform the extramural community that NOT-AI-20-031, Notice of Special Interest (NOSI): Severe Acute Respiratory Syndrome Coronavirus 2 (SARS-CoV-2) and Coronavirus Disease 2019 (COVID-19), will be rescinded as of May 19, 2020.

In place of NOT-AI-20-031, NIAID has issued NOT-AI-20-051, Notice of Special Interest (NOSI): Select Research Areas for Severe Acute Respiratory Syndrome Coronavirus 2 (SARS-CoV-2) and Coronavirus Disease 2019 (COVID-19); this new NOSI has a narrower research focus and directs interested applicants to the following funding opportunity announcements:
