Purpose

This Notice informs the community of a correction to the application forms package for RFA-RM-20-016 " Harnessing Data Science for Health Discovery and Innovation in Africa (DS-I Africa) Research Training Program (U2R – Clinical Trial Optional)". Additionally, the application due date for this funding opportunity has been extended to allow sufficient time for applicants to change to the updated forms.

The application forms package originally posted with this Funding Opportunity Announcement excluded the PHS Human Subjects and Clinical Trials Forms. To address this issue, a new application forms package with the correct forms that include the PHS Human Subjects and Clinical Trials Forms has been posted in Grants.gov identified by a Competition ID of ‘FORMS-F-REVISED’. Applicants who have initiated applications using the original (FORMS-F) package must move their application data to the FORMS-F-REVISED application package to successfully submit.

Note: ASSIST, Workspace and many institutional system-to-system solutions allow application data to be easily copied from one application package to another. Contact appropriate support team for assistance (ASSIST – eRA Service Desk; Workspace – Grants.gov Contact Center).

To accommodate applicants that will need to move their application data to the updated forms package, the application due date has been extended for RFA-RM-20-016, as indicated below.
