Purpose
The National Institutes of Health seeks applications from community-based and health care provider organizations to develop and conduct education, awareness and navigation activities for the All of Us Research Program (formerly known as the Precision Medicine Initiative Cohort Program). This funding opportunity (OT-PM-17-001) is accessible at https://www.nih.gov/research-training/allofus-research-program/funding/all-us-research-program-engagement-partners-ot2.
The goal of the All of Us Research Program is to build a research cohort of one million or more U.S. volunteers who are engaged as partners in a longitudinal, long-term effort to transform the understanding of factors contributing to individual health and disease. The All of Us Research Program seeks to enroll volunteers that reflect the diversity of the United States, including those historically underrepresented in biomedical research. In order to achieve this goal, the All of Us Research Program aims to develop active and meaningful partnerships with patient, community, faith-based and minority organizations and groups with reach into communities historically underrepresented in biomedical research, in order to engage, educate and motivate these communities to participate in the Program. The All of Us Research Program also seeks partners who can engage and educate health care professionals about the Program.
These organizations will work in collaboration with the current infrastructure of the All of Us Research Program, which includes a network of health care provider organizations (RFA-PM-16-002, PM-OT-16-003), participant mobile technologies (RFA-PM-16-003), biobank (RFA-PM-16-004), pilot program (OT-PM-16-001), and communication infrastructure (OT-PM-16-002).
