CRP applications for a Phase II/IIB award that is active when the CRP is submitted and will be active on the requested Project Start Date for the CRP should be submitted as a revision ("Type 3") application.

  • All Revision applications must include a separate Introduction attachment in accordance with the instructions on NIH's Competing Revisions. Revision resubmission applications must also address the instructions on the content of the introduction on the NIH's Resubmission Applications page on the single Introduction attachment.
  • The first submission of a Revision application must select Revision as the Type of Application on the SF424 (R&R) cover form.
