Purpose
The purpose of this notice is to alert the research community to the updated information posted on the NIMH clinical trial web page at http://www.nimh.nih.gov/funding/opportunities-announcements/clinical-trials-foas/index.shtml. Specifically, the Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs) of the NIMH Clinical Trials web page has been updated. In addition to reviewing the FAQs, NIMH continues to strongly encourage investigators to contact our Scientific/Research contacts associated with our Clinical Trial FOAs or our Clinical Trials email box ([email protected]) with any further questions.
NIMH also reminds investigators that clinical trial applications are not accepted in response to the Parent R01, R21 or R03 Funding Opportunity Announcements (PA-13-301, PA-13-303, and PA-13-304, respectively). Please see NOT-MH-14-007 as well as the FAQs for further details on the unique exceptions to this requirement.
NIMH will continue to provide updated information and materials from presentations on the NIMH clinical trial web page and therefore recommends frequent monitoring of this page by clinical trial researchers.
