Purpose

Effectively immediately, the National Institute of Mental Health is modifying its implementation of the requirement outlined in NOT-MH-11-003 concerning the use of the eRA Commons xTrain module to prepare and submit the PHS 2271 Statement of Appointment form and the PHS 416-7 Termination Notice for R25 awards.  The institution must electronically submit a completed Statement of Appointment and a completed Termination Notice using the xTrain system only for participant(s) appointed for eight weeks or more on NIMH R25 grants that support research education programs for psychiatric residents made under PAR-10-267 and PAR-12-263.
