Notice Number: NOT-HS-11-007
Key Dates
Release Date: February 18, 2011
Issued by
Agency for Healthcare Research and Quality (AHRQ)
Purpose
This Notice reinstates the original expiration date of September 8, 2012 and informs applicants of the posting of a new application package with the Competition ID of ADOBE-FORMS-B1 for Funding Opportunity Announcement (FOA): ‘AHRQ Individual Awards for Postdoctoral Fellows (F32) Ruth L. Kirschstein National Research Service Awards (NRSA) PA-09-229’, (see https://grants.nih.gov/grants/guide/pa-files/PA-09-229.html).
AHRQ requires all fellowship applications submitted for due dates on/after January 25, 2011 to follow the Adobe B1 application form requirements (see https://grants.nih.gov/grants/guide/notice-files/NOT-OD-11-008.html). Although AHRQ co-sponsored a notice with NIH on November 5, 2010 indicating the need to expire and reissue fellowship application announcements to comply with language requirements in new application forms (see https://grants.nih.gov/grants/guide/notice-files/NOT-OD-11-018.html), AHRQ has elected to add the new application package and corresponding instructions to this existing announcement instead.
Applications submitted in response to this FOA for Federal assistance must be submitted electronically through Grants.gov (http://www.grants.gov/) using the SF 424 Research and Related (R&R) forms and the SF 424 (R&R) Individual Fellowship Application Guide for use by NIH and AHRQ.
It is critical that applicants follow the instructions in the latest Individual Fellowship SF424 (R&R) Application Guide except where instructed to do otherwise (in PA-09-229 or in a Notice from the NIH Guide for grants and Contracts.) Conformance to all requirements (both in the Application Guide and in the FOA) is required and strictly enforced. Applicants must read and follow all application instructions in the Application Guide as well as any program-specific instructions noted in the FOA. When the program-specific instructions deviate from those in the Application Guide, follow the program-specific instructions. Applications that do not comply with these instructions may be delayed or not accepted for review.
All other aspects of this FOA, including the original expiration date of September 8, 2012, remain the same.
