Purpose

The purpose of this Notice is to announce that November 2, 2015 is the final receipt date for requests to the NHLBI DNA Resequencing and Genotyping (RS&G) Service for resequencing or genotyping of genomic regions potentially important in the disease pathways of heart, lung, blood, and sleep disorders.

The NHLBI established the RS&G Service to assist ongoing investigations of the genetic components involved in the cause, variable outcome, and progression of heart, lung, blood, and sleep diseases and disorders. Requests are evaluated based on their relevance to heart, lung, blood and sleep diseases and disorders; feasibility; adequacy of the size and power; the data sharing plan; and evidence that the investigators have the expertise and resources to utilize the data. The services are provided at no cost to qualifying investigators.
