Purpose
The purpose of this notice is to inform potential applicants that the National Institute of Child Health and Human Development (NICHD) is participating, effective immediately, in NOT-AG-18-008 "Alzheimer's Disease and its related Dementias (AD/ADRD)-focused Administrative supplements for NIH grants that are not focused on Alzheimer's disease".

National Institute of Child Health and Human Development: NICHD is particularly interested in studies that explore the linkages between pregnancy complications such as hypertension and preeclampsia and later development of dementia; the role of head trauma and brain injury in the later development of dementia and the possible benefit of rehabilitation interventions for cognition and gait/balance in AD/ADRD; and in the significantly increased risk of Alzheimer’s disease in adults with Down syndrome.
All other aspects of this Notice remain unchanged.
