Purpose

The purpose of this Notice is to inform applicants of a change in the scientific scope of applications that may be submitted to PAR-17-316 "Biomedical Technology Research Resource (P41)". Effective for the May 7 AIDS and AIDS-related due date, NIGMS will no longer accept HIV, AIDS, and AIDS-related applications to this FOA. Accordingly, the AIDS and AIDS-related due dates are removed from this FOA.

January 7, 2018; May 7, 2018; September 7, 2018; May 7, 2019; September 7, 2019; and May 7, 2020, by 5:00 PM local time of applicant organization. All types of AIDS and AIDS-related applications allowed for this funding opportunity announcement are due on these dates.

Applicants are encouraged to apply early to allow adequate time to make any corrections to errors found in the application during the submission process by the due date.
