Eligible Organizations
Current Language
Institutional eligibility for this FOA is limited to research-intensive institutions as defined above. To prevent the duplication of NIGMS diversity enhancing programs, each institution is eligible for one undergraduate program (either MARC or U-RISE) and one graduate program (either IMSD or G-RISE). Institutions with NIGMS MARC, U-RISE, IMSD, or G-RISE funding are eligible for the Bridges to the Baccalaureate and/or Bridges to the Doctorate programs.
Revised Language: The language regarding institutional eligibility is revised to clarify the eligibility of institutions that currently hold IMSD R25 awards.
Institutional eligibility for this FOA is limited to research-intensive institutions as defined above. To prevent the duplication of NIGMS diversity enhancing programs, each institution is eligible for one undergraduate program (either MARC or U-RISE) and/or one graduate program (either IMSD or G-RISE). Institutions are eligible to hold only one IMSD award at a time regardless of the activity code (R25 or T32). Therefore, institutions with currently funded IMSD R25 awards for support of graduate students are eligible to apply for this FOA (IMSD T32) only at the end of the current IMSD R25 funding period. Institutions with NIGMS MARC, U-RISE, IMSD, or G-RISE funding are eligible for the Bridges to the Baccalaureate and/or Bridges to the Doctorate programs.
All other aspects of this FOA remain the same.
