This Notice NOT-FD-22-006 supersedes NOT-FD-21-014.
The purpose of this notice is to inform potential applicants to the Veterinary Laboratory Investigation and Response Network (Vet-LIRN), about a special interest in applications focusing on COVID-19 animal diagnostics.
Background
This notice invites Vet-LIRN Network Laboratories to submit grant applications for Projects or Equipment, specifically related to work focusing on COVID-19 diagnostics in animals. Applications can be one year or multiple years. The maximum project period is three (3) years for COVID-19 applications.

Application and Submission Information
This notice applies to the application due dates listed below.
Application Due Dates:
April 15, 2022, July 11, 2022 by 11:59PM Eastern Time.
April 15, 2023, July 10, 2023 by 11:59PM Eastern Time.
Applicants are encouraged to apply early to allow adequate time to make any corrections to errors found in the application during the submission process by the by the due date.
Applicants should be aware that on-time submission means that an application is submitted error free (of both Grants.gov and eRA Commons errors) by 11:59 PM Eastern Time on the application due date.
