NCRR TRAINING GRANT FOR VETERINARY STUDENTS IN ANIMAL-ORIENTED, HYPOTHESIS-BASED RESEARCH: CHANGE IN PROVISION OF THE AWARD Release Date: August 28, 2002 NOTICE: NOT-RR-02-010 National Center for Research Resources (NCRR) (http://www.ncrr.nih.gov) The National Center for Research Resources (NCRR) has revised the Provisions of the Award for the NCRR Training Grant for Veterinary Students in Animal-Oriented, Hypothesis-Based Research (T32). See PA- 01-138 http://grants.nih.gov/grants/guide/pa-files/PA-01-138.html The revision states the following: PROVISIONS OF THE AWARD Short-Term Training Applicants for this training grant cannot request funds for "Short-Term Training." This award provides support for one year of supervised research experience to introduce veterinary students with an interest in biomedical research at a formative stage of their veterinary medical science education. Therefore, short-term training as substitution for the one-year supported research experience would not provide enough time to accomplish the goal of this program.
