Purpose

The purpose of this Notice is to inform applicants of a change in the scientific scope of applications that may be submitted to PAR-17-046 "Exploratory Research for Technology Development (R21)". Effective for the May 7 AIDS and AIDS-related due date, NIGMS will no longer accept HIV, AIDS, and AIDS-related applications to this FOA. Accordingly, the AIDS and AIDS-related due dates are removed from this FOA.

Standard AIDS dates apply, by 5:00 PM local time of applicant organization. All types of AIDS and AIDS-related applications allowed for this funding opportunity announcement are due on these dates.
