Kirschstein National Research Service Awards (NRSA) Act. This notice directs applicants to the updated NIGMS guidelines for the NRSA mechanisms posted on the NIGMS website: http://www.nigms.nih.gov/funding/trngmech.html. The information in the updated guidelines replaces the information provided in the NIGMS GUIDELINES NATIONAL RESEARCH SERVICE AWARDS published as Notice 97-033 in the NIH Guide for Grants and Contracts on February 7, 1997. This information applies to applications for NIGMS NRSA mechanisms and supplements the NIH Guidelines for NRSA awards as described on the NIH Research Training website (http://grants.nih.gov/training/nrsa.htm#inst).
