Purpose

This notice announces the availability of the final draft NIEHS FY 2025-2029 Strategic Plan, and public comment period.

Background

NIEHS notifies all interested parties including researchers, research organizations, health care professionals, patient advocates and advocacy organizations, scientific or professional organizations, federal agencies, and other interested members of the public of the availability of a public comment period for its draft FY 2025-2029 Strategic Plan.

Availability and Public Comment Period

The NIEHS’ final draft FY 2025-2029 Strategic Plan may be viewed at: https://www.niehs.nih.gov/about/strategicplan/strategicplan2024/finaldraft. NIEHS invites general comments on the areas outlined below:

1. Research Areas of Emphasis
2. Capacity and Infrastructure and Scientific Stewardship priorities
3. Crosscutting Themes

How to Submit a Response

All comments should be submitted electronically via email to ehs-strategic-plan@mail.nih.gov.

Respondents are strongly encouraged to follow comment instructions for online/electronic submission.

Responses must be received by July 21, 2024.Responses are voluntary.

This request is for information and planning purposes only and should not be construed as a solicitation or as an obligation on the part of the Federal Government to provide support for any ideas identified in response to it.
