If you would like to be notified when Human Embryonic Stem Cell (hESC) lines are added to the Registry of lines eligible for use in NIH funded research, you may subscribe to the hESC RSS Data Feed. This will include the name of the submitting organization, the number of lines added and a link to the registry. Below is a brief explanation of the RSS notification. RSS Data Feed RSS is an acronym for Really Simple Syndication, which is an XML-based format for content distribution. RSS feeds
can be read using software called an "RSS reader", "feed reader", or "aggregator", which can be web-based,
desktop-based, or mobile-device-based. Most browsers can act as an RSS reader. NIH will update an RSS file
containing name of the submitting organization and the number of lines, as they are added to the Registry of lines eligible for use in NIH
funded research. Interested individuals may use an RSS reader to collect and monitor new registry
entries.
A Twitter feed was avaialable until February 4, 2011, at which time it was discontinued due to technical issues.
