Purpose
The Scientists Center for Animal Welfare (SCAW) will present the 2019 Winter Conference on December 9-10 in San Antonio, Texas. The two-day conference is for Institutional Animal Care and Use Committee (IACUC) members and administrators, principal investigators, attending veterinarians, regulatory personnel and laboratory animal care staff. The program will provide key findings and advances in research animal welfare, explore policy and management issues related to IACUCs, and develop awareness of humane care and use of agricultural animals in research.
