PREVALENCE AND DIAGNOSIS OF CELIAC DISEASE - NOTICE OF REVISION

Release Date: June 11, 1999

RFA: DK-99-015

National Institute of Diabetes and Digestive and Kidney Diseases

Letter of Intent Receipt Date: June 22, 1999
Application Receipt Date: July 22, 1999

SUMMARY

This notice serves to make two changes in RFA DK-99-015, originally published
in the NIH Guide on March 5, 1999. The original RFA stated that applicants
were limited to a budget of $250,000 in direct costs per year when applying
under this RFA for an R01. That limit is now raised to $500,000 in direct
costs per year. The second change is to allow Interactive Research Project
Grants (IRPGs) to be submitted in response to this RFA. The original RFA made
no mention of IRPGs. All applications submitted in response to this RFA are
to use the Modular Grant format.

With the publication of this Notice, the text of DK-99-015 will concurrently
be modified to reflect these changes.
