The purpose of this notice is to inform potential applicants for RFA DK-98-021,
which was issued on July 29, 1998, of a change in the receipt and award dates and
an increase in the funds committed and anticipated number of awards.

The new receipt dates are:
Letter of Intent Receipt Date: April 19, 1999
Application Receipt Date: May 19, 1999

The new earliest possible award date is April 1, 2000

The current FUNDS AVAILABLE language indicates that one award is anticipated. 
This section is amended to read as follows:

For FY 2000, $2 million will be committed to fund applications submitted in
response to this RFA.  It is anticipated that two awards will be made.  The
receipt of one competing continuation application is anticipated, which will be
in competition together with the other applications received in response to this
RFA.
