The purpose of this notice is to inform potential applicants for the National
Institute of Child Health and Human Development (NICHD) Career Transition Award
(K22), announced in PAR-98-025, that after February 1, 1999, the (NICHD) will
accept applications for the K22 award only once per year, October 1 for new
applications and November 1 for amended applications.  This modifies the
guidelines provided in PAR-98-025 allowing three submission dates annually. 
Applications planned for the February 1, 1999, receipt date may be submitted as
planned.
