NOVEL TECHNOLOGIES FOR EVALUATION OF MOLECULAR ALTERATIONS INTISSUE - ADDENDUM NIH GUIDE, Volume 26, Number 6, February 21, 1997 P.T. 34 Keywords: Cancer/Carcinogenesis Biology, Cellular Biology, Molecular Gene Products Genetic Manipulation National Cancer Institute The following additional information is provided for RFA CA-97-011, "Novel Technologies for Evaluation of Molecular Alterations in Tissue," which appeared in the NIH Guide, Vol. 26, No. 2, January 17, 1997: o The National Cancer Institute (NCI) announces an increase in the funds available to support applications received in response to RFA CA-97-011. The total funds available for the May 8, 1997 receipt date will be $3.5 million. The total funds available for the November 13, 1997 receipt date will depend on the distribution of funds from the FY 98 NCI budget. The following information is provided in order to clarify the budget limitations on R21 applications received in response to RFA CA-97-011: o The maximum budget for the R21 applications is $100,000 direct costs per year excluding indirect costs to collaborating institutions.
