In addition, the award will enable the participating institution to establish or enhance an office of sponsored research and to provide for other research infrastructure needs. ELIGIBILITY Eligibility is limited to those domestic academic institutions that have a significant enrollment comprised of minorities (i.e., African Americans, Hispanics, Asians, Native Americans), or are women's colleges, and have a faculty member who has not participated in the NIH Extramural Associates Program since 1991.
