TUBERCULOSIS PREVENTION AND CONTROL RESEARCH NIH GUIDE, Volume 22, Number 41, November 12, 1993 RFP AVAILABLE: NIH-NIAID-DMID-94-22 P.T. 34 Keywords: Pulmonary Diseases Microbiology National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases The Respiratory Diseases Branch, Division of Microbiology and Infectious Diseases (DMID), National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases (NIAID), has a requirement for a multifaceted, prevention-focused, clinical and basic research effort on Mycobacterium tuberculosis and associated infections. The program is aimed at understanding disease pathogenesis and prevention of infection. The Contractor must have demonstrated experience in clinical and basic research associated with Mycobacterium tuberculosis. Request for Proposals (RFP) NIH-NIAID-DMID-94-22 is now available. Responses are due by January 14, 1994. It is anticipated that two level of effort contracts will be awarded with incremental funding over a period of five years. Any responsible offeror may submit a proposal that will be considered by the Government. INQUIRIES Interested organizations may request either a streamlined or full RFP package. If no selection is made, a streamlined version of the RFP will be provided, which includes only the Statement of Work, deliverable and reporting requirements, special requirements, and mandatory qualifications, if any, and technical evaluation criteria. After examination of these documents, any organization interested in responding to the RFP must request the entire RFP in writing, by telephone, or by FAX request.
