The Notice, "Reminder of Receipt Dates" that recently appeared in the

NIH Guide for Grants and Contracts (Vol. 21, No. 17, May 8, 1992)

incorrectly identified the title of the program for which applications

were to be received by June 1.  The correct title is "Animal Facility

Improvement for Small Research Programs."  Because of the confusion

resulting from the May 8 Notice, the receipt date for these

applications has been changed from June 1 until August 1, 1992, on a

one-time basis.  The single deadline of October 1 for applications for

"Developing and Improving Institutional Animal Resources" remains

unchanged.

reflect special instructions to accompany the form PHS 398 (rev. 9/91),
