The National Cancer Institute is sponsoring one-day preapplication

conferences for three new cooperative agreements:  the National Black

Leadership Initiative on Cancer (NBLIC), the National Hispanic

Leadership Initiative on Cancer (NHLIC), and the Appalachia Leadership

Initiative on Cancer (ALIC).  The conferences are open to anyone

interested in applying for these cooperative agreements.  Issues to be

discussed include application procedures, program goals and objectives,

and award criteria.  Time will be allotted for questions and answers.

The current schedule includes the following:
