NIMH POLICY CHANGE ON MULTI-INSTITUTIONAL COLLABORATIVE RESEARCH PROJECTS (R10) NIH GUIDE, Volume 26, Number 40, December 19, 1997 P.T. National Institute of Mental Health Effective with applications submitted on February 1, 1998, the National Institute of Mental Health (NIMH) will no longer accept Multi-Institutional Collaborative Research Project (R10) grants. Instead, NIMH intends to support Collaborative Clinical Studies of Mental Disorders through the use of multiple R01 grants. Therefore, the program announcement "Collaborative R01s for Clinical Studies of Mental Disorders," PAR-98-017, is being published elsewhere in this issue of the NIH Guide (https://grants.nih.gov/grants/guide/pa- files/par-98-017). Thus, all new (Type 1) and competing renewal (Type 2) applications for Collaborative Clinical Studies of Mental Disorders must apply under this new program announcement.
