Purpose

NCATS will conduct a technical assistance webinar on Tuesday, January 14, 2025, from 3:00 pm to 4:30 pm EST for applicants interested in applying to PAR-25-296 “Limited Competition: Clinical and Translational Science Award (CTSA) Program: Collaborative and Innovative Acceleration Award (UG3/UH3 Clinical Trial Optional)”.

The CTSA Collaborative and Innovative Acceleration Award (CCIA) aims to accelerate the pace of translational research by supporting the collaborative development, dissemination, and sustainable implementation of innovative solutions across the CTSA Program Consortium and beyond. This limited competition Notice of Funding Opportunity (NOFO) invites investigator-initiated applications to develop, demonstrate, and disseminate innovative new approaches, technologies, resources, or models that increase the impact of research across diseases, transform the field of translational science, and bring more treatments for all people more quickly.

During the webinar, staff will provide an overview of the NOFO and answer questions from prospective applicants. All prospective applicants are highly encouraged to submit questions at least one week in advance of the webinar via email to: ctsa_collaborativeinnovation@mail.nih.gov. Answers to questions that cannot be addressed during the allotted time will be provided on the NCATS CTSA Program Applicant Information website approximately one week after the event. Agency-, Institution-, and/or Office-specific questions will not be addressed during the webinar.

The Technical Assistance Webinar will be closed captioned. If sign language interpretation or other reasonable accommodations are required, please contact ctsa_collaborativeinnovation@mail.nih.gov by Friday, January 3, 2025.

This webinar will also be recorded. A recording of the event and copy of the presented slides will be made available on the NCATS CTSA Program Applicant Information website approximately one week after the event. Prospective applicants who are unable to join are encouraged to review this information when preparing an application for submission.
