RESEARCH EXCELLENCE (COBRE) FOR ALTERATION AND RENOVATION AND EQUIPMENT

National Center for Research Resources

The National Center for Research Resources (NCRR) encourages the submission of 
individual resource improvement competitive supplemental grant applications from 
Centers of Biomedical Research Excellence (COBRE).  The major objective of these 
supplements is to upgrade facilities and provide instrumentation to support the 
conduct of COBRE supported biomedical and behavioral research.  Support is 
limited to alterations and renovations (A&R) to improve laboratory and animal 
facilities, and the purchase of major equipment items.  Eligible applicants are 
currently funded COBRE principal investigators.  The deadline for receipt of 
applications is April 18, 2002.

NCRR staff will contact all eligible applicants directly regarding application
