The following addition is issued for RFA RR-00-001, which was published 
in the NIH Guide for Grants and Contracts dated December 13, 1999.

In the interest of promoting sharing of research materials and in the 
interest of protection of human subjects, any grantee for RFA RR-00-
001, National Stem Cell Resource, may be required to obtain assurances 
from recipients of repository materials restricting those materials, or 
products derived from them, from commercial use.  The content of the 
assurance will be determined by the NIH in consultation with the 
National Stem Cell Resource grantee.  Applicants/grantees must be 
prepared to establish this assurance system within the operation of the 
Resource.
