RFA-RM-21-011 - Expert-Driven Small Projects to Strengthen Gabriella Miller Kids First Discovery (R03 Clinical Trial Not Allowed)
Office of Strategic Coordination (Common Fund)
The goal of the Gabriella Miller Kids First Pediatric Research Program (Kids First) is to help researchers uncover new insights into the biology of childhood cancer and structural birth defects, including the discovery of shared genetic pathways between these disorders. To achieve this goal, Kids First established and continues to develop the Kids First Data Resource, a large collection of curated genomic and phenotypic data from childhood cancer and structural birth defects cohorts and a central portal where these data and analysis tools are accessible to the pediatric community.
The NIH Common Fund will hold an interactive Q&A pre-application webinar for RFA-RM-21-011 on March 29, 2021 at 12:00 pm Eastern Daylight Time (EDT). NIH program and review staff will discuss the overall structure and goals of the Kids First program and RFA-RM-21-011, and answer questions from prospective applicants. Pre-registration for the webinar is required and participants are asked to submit their questions ahead of time to the Kids First mailbox at [email protected]. Participation in the webinar is optional.
