The purpose of this Notice is to inform the research community of a funding opportunity announcement (FOA) information and technical assistance webinar for: RFA-RM-20-015, RFA-RM-20-016, RFA-RM-20-017, RFA-RM-20-018. The webinar will review the purpose and objectives of the FOAs, application process, grants management advice, and tips from NIH grant recipients. All prospective applicants are invited to participate.
This webinar is part of a larger DS-I Africa Virtual Symposium Platform, an interactive, online resource which includes a collection of networking tools and online events that engage participants in robust scientific discussions and facilitate networking across disciplines, sectors, and geographies. The platform includes keynote videos, interactive panels with leading data scientists, and a Virtual Forum that enables participants to interact with each other.

Interactive webinar including Q&A and breakout clinics covering grant management issues, the electronic application process, and tips from NIH grant recipients.

Participation in this webinar, although encouraged, is optional and is not required for the submission of an application in response to the DS-I Africa FOAs. Applicants are strongly encouraged to discuss their applications with the Scientific/Research Contacts listed in the FOAs early in the application development process.
