Purpose

On September 18, 2017, the NIH issued funding opportunity announcements (FOAs) for revisions to ongoing R01, U01, and R34 clinical trials to support use-inspired research to optimize adherence, behavior change interventions, and outcomes. The FOAs include:

  • Science of Behavior Change: Revision Applications for Use-inspired Research to Optimize Adherence, Behavior Change Interventions, and Outcomes (R01) (RFA-RM-17-022)
  • Science of Behavior Change: Revision Applications for Use-inspired Research to Optimize Adherence, Behavior Change Interventions, and Outcomes (U01) (RFA-RM-17-023)
  • Science of Behavior Change: Revision Applications for Use-inspired Research to Optimize Adherence, Behavior Change Interventions, and Outcomes (R34) (RFA-RM-17-024)
  • Science of Behavior Change: Use-inspired Research to Optimize Adherence, Behavior Change Interventions, and Outcomes (R21) (RFA-RM-17-028)

To assist potential applications to the above-referenced FOAs, this Notice provides information on two Applicant Information Webinars scheduled for Thursday, October 26, 2017 from 1-2:30 pm Eastern time, and Monday, October 30, 2017 from 12-1:30 pm Eastern time. The two webinars will cover the same information and potential applicants.

Applicant Information Webinars
NIH staff will provide information about the FOAs and answer questions from potential applicants. The webinar is open to all prospective applicants, but participation in the webinar is not a prerequisite for applying. Registration is required to participate in one of the webinars. Information about how to register and participate in the webinar is available at https://commonfund.nih.gov/behaviorchange.

The slides used during the webinars and Frequently Asked Questions will be posted at https://commonfund.nih.gov/behaviorchange after the webinars.
