Purpose

The purpose of this Notice is to correct the Funds Available and Award Budget for RFA-RM-16-017, "Human Heredity and Health in Africa (H3Africa): Coordinating Center (U24)," as indicated below.

Part 2. Award Information

Funds Available and Anticipated Number of Awards

The FOA currently reads:
Funds Available and Anticipated Number of Awards - The NIH Common Fund and NHGRI intend to commit up to a total of $400,000 per year for up to 5 years for one award. Funding is contingent upon NIH appropriations and the submission of a sufficient number of meritorious applications.

Award Budget - Application need to reflect the actual needs of the proposed project and are limited to $400,000 total costs/year.

The revised FOA reads:
Funds Available and Anticipated Number of Awards - The NIH Common Fund and NHGRI intend to commit up to a total costs of $540,000 per year for up to 5 years for one award. Funding is contingent upon NIH appropriations and the submission of a sufficient number of meritorious applications.

Award Budget - Application need to reflect the actual needs of the proposed project and are limited to $540,000 total costs/year.

All other aspects of the FOA remain unchanged.
