Purpose

The National Institutes of Health (NIH) Common Fund (CF) Regulatory Science Microsystems Program Team will hold a pre-application teleconference regarding the Funding Opportunity Announcements (FOAs) for Integrated Microphysiological Systems for Drug Efficacy and Toxicity Testing in Human Health and Disease (UH2/UH3) https://grants.nih.gov/grants/guide/rfa-files/RFA-RM-11-022.html and Stem/Progenitor Cell-Derived Human Micro-organs and -tissues (U18) https://grants.nih.gov/grants/guide/rfa-files/RFA-RM-12-001.html on December 16th, 2011 from 1-3 pm, ET.

The meeting is intended to be informative to all prospective applicants who consider responding to these FOAs. NIH CF Microsystems Program Team staff, Review staff and Grants Management representatives will provide an overview of this Regulatory Science funding initiative and will explain specific aspects of the FOAs in a brief presentation followed by a question and answer session. Participation in the meeting, although encouraged, is optional and not required for application submission.
