Purpose

The National Institutes of Health Common Fund will hold a pre-application session on Thursday, March 10, 2011 to provide technical assistance information and an opportunity for NIH staff to explain the goals and objectives of RFA-RM-11-003 NIH HMO Collaboratory Coordinating Center Limited Competition (U54). All prospective applicants are invited to participate. This interactive session will provide a forum to ask questions. Topics include program interests, budget preparation, and peer review. No provisions will be made for in-person attendance.  Participation in the session is neither required nor necessary for a successful application.

Potential applicants are invited and encouraged to submit their questions or comments about the FOA to [email protected] in advance of the event. The full funding opportunity announcement is available at https://grants.nih.gov/grants/guide/rfa-files/RFA-RM-11-003.html.

Prospective applicants who plan to participate in the Session should send an e-mail by March 7, 2011 expressing their interest to [email protected] in order to receive logistical information about the session, including time and log-in information.  In the Subject line of the e-mail request, please write: Information Session .  The email message should contain: 

  • Name
  • Institution
  • E-mail address
  • Number of telephone lines and computer logins that your group plans to use for the session

Following the Session a link to the archive will be posted at http://commonfund.nih.gov/hmocollaboratory/ and will be available through the FOA receipt date.  Prospective applicants with inquiries concerning the FOA who are unable to participate in the Session are encouraged to view the archive after the Session.  For any additional questions that are not addressed in the archive, please contact Laura Lee Johnson at [email protected]
