Purpose

This Notice is being provided as a correction to RFA-RM-10-011(https://grants.nih.gov/grants/guide/rfa-files/RFA-RM-10-011.html), RFA-RM-10-012 (https://grants.nih.gov/grants/guide/rfa-files/RFA-RM-10-012.html), and RFA-RM-10-013 (https://grants.nih.gov/grants/guide/rfa-files/RFA-RM-10-013.html), published in the NIH Guide on September 10, 2010.

The purpose of this Notice is to alert applicants that the NIH will hold a pre-application informational meeting for Request for Applications RFA-RM-10-011 - Knockout Mouse Phenotyping, RFA-RM-10-012 - Knockout Mouse Project Database, and RFA-RM-10-013 - Knockout Mouse Production and Cryopreservation. This meeting will take place at the NIH Twinbrook Conference Facility (5635 Fisher's Lane, Terrace Level) in Rockville, MD from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM on Tuesday, October 12, 2010. This meeting is open to the public and will be available via teleconference. In order to receive the teleconference number, please send the information outlined below in an email to komp2@mail.nih.gov. All prospective applicants are invited to attend this meeting.

The meeting will provide information for prospective applicants who are considering responding to the three KOMP2 FOAs. NIH Program Staff and other representatives will provide an overview of the KOMP program and will explain specific aspects of the FOAs. A short presentation will be followed by an opportunity for prospective applicants to ask questions about the FOAs. A set of Frequently Asked Questions will be posted following the meeting at http://www.genome.gov/27541365.

Participation in the meeting is optional and not required for application submission. Please be advised that the NIH does not cover your expenses to attend this meeting.

Additionally, please note that the following participating organizations were omitted: National Human Genome Research Institute (NHGRI)(CFDA 93.172) from RFA-RM-10-013, National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases (NIAID) (CFDA 93.855 and 93.856) from all three, and National Institute of Diabetes and Digestive and Kidney Diseases (NIDDK) (CFDA 93.847) from all three.
