As part of the Roadmap 1.5 Human Microbiome Project, the NIH is requesting competing applications for the purpose of continuing to generate a Human Microbiome Project Data Resource. This limited competition RFA-RM 08-001 will use the U54 cooperative agreement mechanism. Further information about its goals can be found at http://nihroadmap.nih.gov/hmp/. Applications may be submitted by large-scale sequencing centers (both extramural and intramural) that are currently funded by NHGRI and NIAID. The large-scale sequencing centers at the Broad Institute, Baylor College of Medicine, The J. Craig Venter Institute, Washington University School of Medicine and the NIH Intramural Sequencing Center may apply.
